Many Americans want to newest, brightest and latest and greatest thing on the market. We all droll over the new iPhone, or the newest gadget. This also includes cars. We may have a 2008 Mazda 3, but the newest Mazda 3 looks so much better! The features have really got much better with vehicles recently such as Push Button Start, Back-up Camera, Touchscreens, Park Assist, etc. and we all want them. The thing is, do we really need them or is the car you still have a great option to keep?
Chances are if you keep your old vehicle others may think you’re being cheap, but it’s not about being cheap, it is just being smart. If you old vehicle has no or minimal problems, then keeping your existing car is the right fit. Why spend the extra $300-$500 a month on a new car when you have a perfectly good car in your driveway already that is paid off. I don’t know about you, but I would love to have that $6000 extra each year and use that on an amazing vacation.
CSC is in Tampa, FL and the people here do not usually think that way. Being able to show off what you have is the way to be in this city and many other cities in the United States. Lets take the other side of the coin for a moment. Lets say that it was a smart idea to get that new vehicle. Maybe you park on the street often and you’re not the best person when it comes to parking. The Park Assist is a great feature for you. Maybe you travel a lot of your work and you put a ton of miles on your car. Having a nice touchscreen and buttons on your steering wheel is a great idea for you. Maybe you’re car is upwards of 100,000 or 120,000 miles and you know that problems are going to occur soon. Maybe the best idea is to buy a new vehicle. just wait until a great deal comes about. Test drive at least three different vehicles that you like and make the decision as to which is best and what you will want to show off to your friends and neighbors.
When debating when to get a new car, the best idea is to NOT buy a new vehicle unless it is 100% time to do so, but if you are the show off type, maybe it is best to buy a new vehicle. This is not a one size fits all. It is more of a one size fits half thing. If you want to save a little bit more money or want to take more vacations and use the money for other activities, keep you vehicle. If money is not a problem, get that bright and shiny new car.
What is best for you?
