Car Shipping Carriers has been a long time enthusiast of Tesla Motors counting all the way back to the Tesla Roadster days. We get a little more excited every time we get to transport a Tesla because we just love everything about the brand and the car itself. It is not every day that us auto hauling companies get to see a Tesla because they don’t make a ton of them, but we love them anyway.
Tesla Motors had their Tesla Model S P85D tested through Consumer Reports recently. It is the fastest and most expensive car Consumer Reports has ever tested. What happened when the Consumer Reports on Tesla Model S was released is mind boggling. The Model S broke the Consumer Reports scale and scored a 103 out of 100! For one, it is the first car ever to score out of the boundaries AND it is the first ever car to even score a 100 on their scale. This is BIG news for Tesla and something that Tesla Motors and everyone who knows a Tesla should be proud about. To have, literally, the best car in the world is such a cool feat and something awesome to say with confidence.
So, you might be thinking “How did the Tesla score so highly?”. That is a great question. It is literally everything about the car that scored it the way it was. The steering and handling is something amazing. The efficiency of the energy of the Tesla Model S is equivalent to about 87 mpg which is awesome. The focus on performance doesn’t hurt the feel of the vehicle, the luxury element of the vehicle or even the practicality. Having the car have the ability of going 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds while in insane mode. Having seating for up to 7 helped boost its ranking. The 17 inch touchscreen was a feature that consumer reports liked. They also stated it was nice that the touchscreen did a great job integrating technology and connectivity. Internet capable diagnostic capabilities. Ordering it online made the buying experience fun and easy with specific wants and needs being able to be clicked and added or removed easily to customize your Tesla.
All of those mentioned above helped the Tesla Model S P85D review and allowed them to score a 103 out of 100. It is truly a great vehicle. It does have a hefty price tag attached to it, but getting the base model Tesla Model S wouldn’t be such a bad thing. It is still an amazing car with amazing features, most of which are on both vehicles that Consumer reports tested. It is about time we all start looking at Tesla when buying the next vehicle. Maybe the Model S isn’t your thing, then check out the soon-to-be-released Model X SUV and the upcoming Model 3 that’ll be unveiled next March.
